Upper Southampton Township website, featuring government offices, public works, fire company, parks and recreation, churches, library information, water and sewage, trash and recycling, township history, and much more Formed in 1953 and incorporated in 1954 as the Southampton Business Men's Association, the purpose of the Association was to promote the growth, progress and betterment of our community and for the mutual help of our members. There were originally 87 Charter members. Through the years, the Southampton Business and Professional Association has been a leader in providing projects and programs to benefit the community. It sponsored the arrival of Santa during the sixties and spearheaded the drive to install Holiday Lights for the business district during the winter holidays. This is a commitment it stills supports today. The association maintains the Veteran's Memorial on the southeast corner of Second Street Pike and Street Road.
